INSIGHT: Immunity & Infectiousness of Ebola Survivor (Recovered)
I did pubmed literature search as well as cdc/nih/who reading a couple nights ago ... I think it's safe to assume for our purposes 100% immunity & non-infectiousness after recovery EXCEPT possible residual infectiousness for a few months thru very specific means mainly breastfeeding & semen/sex. A lot of the recovered patients stay on to help others and don't use hazmat suits and humanitarian organizations even recruit/train/employ survivors to spread information and even help with healthcare if possible. Moreover (rachel correct me if I'm wrong) I think the current epidemic is mainly 1 species of Ebola. All this suggests we can assume 100% immunity.
